About Us

Sarah Weinstein

In 1996, Sarah Weinstein began her journey in playing the flute. Over the course of next 28 years, music performance opened many doors for her.

While a student at the Florida Youth Orchestra, she performed at Carnegie Hall. Later, she attended Princeton University, where she played 1st flute of the Princeton University Orchestra. As their principal flutist, Sarah toured concert halls all across Europe, such as the Slovak Radio Concert Hall in Bratislava and the Wiener Staatsoper in Vienna. She has played with many symphonies, including the South Florida Symphony.

In 2012, she opened up her music studio so that she could give back the gift of music to hundreds of children. Now she conducts the Florida Youth Orchestra, teaches music, performs with grammy-winning artists, and wants to play for your events.

Ethan Houston

Ethan Houston’s musical journey began in 2010 when he first picked up the flute. Over the past 15 years, he has developed a profound passion for music, deeply influenced by his studies under the guidance of Sarah and as a student of the Florida Youth Orchestra.

Having studied under Sarah, Ethan has created a refined and beautiful tone. Now, Ethan performs alongside her at various events, with his tone complimenting the extraordinarily magical sounds of Sarah.

Florida Youth Orchestra

The Florida Youth Orchestra, founded in 1988, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing music education to kids who would not have the resources to pursue music on their own. The Orchestra, through its STEPS program, funds instruments in schools, music programs, music scholarships, and more in order to keep music alive in the hearts of children in South Florida.

Both Sarah and Ethan were students in the Florida Youth Orchestra. Now, Sarah is the conductor of its flute choir and Ethan volunteers his time to teach young flute players in the organization. Desiring to give more back to such a great organization, Sarah and Ethan continue to do fundraiser performances for the Orchestra.
